What should I bring to my first eye clinic visit?
Please bring two forms of identification including your insurance card, list of medications and prior surgical procedures or medical events; someone to accompany you if you drive; and a snack if you are diabetic. Try to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment. The entire visit may take two-and-one-half hours.
Do I need to arrive earlier for pupil dilation?
Almost all patients are required to have their pupils dilated, which takes 30 to 40 minutes and may prolong the visit.
What if I have special needs or need language assistance?
If you have special needs (diabetic, language interpreter, etc.), let us know on arrival so we may accommodate you.
