Yes. We treat broken bones. Our experienced and well-trained team of urgent care providers offers a variety of services, including diagnostic computerized X-rays, splinting and suturing, and pain relief. Once initial treatment has taken place, a referral is provided to a specialized orthopedist.

The exam includes medical history, recording height and weight, checking vital signs like blood pressure and heart rate, a vision test, and examination of vital organs, checking heart, lungs, abdomen, ears, nose and throat. Physicians will also evaluate posture, joints, strength and flexibility.

Do you offer DOT or non-DOT drug tests?

All Texas MedClinic Urgent Care clinics, including our Lufkin location, offer Department of Transportation (DOT), as well as Non-DOT drug tests, including: Rapid (same day) drug tests, urine/hair specimen collections, personal drug tests, breath alcohol tests. Special drug panels are available on request.

Yes. Texas MedClinic Urgent Care in Lufkin continues to offer rapid COVID-19 testing that provides results in 15 minutes. PCR and antibody tests are also available.

What is the Silica exam process?

Yes. Texas MedClinic Urgent Care Lufkin has created a silica exam process based on OSHA guidelines. The Silica exam process is a two-part visit and includes: Review of medical history and occupational exposure; TB skin test; One view chest X-ray; Pulmonary function test performed by a NIOSH-certified technician; Medical exam; Medical clearance for respirator use and Silica work where criteria is met.
