FAQs
What services does Epiphany Dermatology Cedar Rapids offer?
General dermatology, cancer care, cosmetic care, and a variety of dermatology services including Mohs surgery and pediatric dermatology.
How quickly can I see a provider?
We strive to get patients scheduled within two weeks. If you are not satisfied with the appointment time given, we utilize a cancellation list which is very effective. Please ask to be added to that list if you would like an earlier time.
How much will I be expected to pay at the time of my visit?
Copays and deductibles are taken at the time of service. Your insurance will give us current information that will inform us on how much is owed.
How much time should I allow for my visit?
Please plan on being at our office for approximately one hour. Although your visit may not take one hour, we ask that you plan accordingly as unforeseen circumstances can extend wait times.
Do I need a referral to be seen?
Referrals are not required to be seen unless your insurance company requires one. Most insurances do not require a referral to see a dermatologist.
How quickly can I schedule an appointment?
Scheduling your appointment is easy and immediate. Prevention and early treatment can be crucial to skin health. We offer same-day and next-day appointments for urgent situations. Even if not urgent, please let us know how we can work around your schedule – we will not let our schedule force you to skip a skin exam or other preventative care.
Will my insurance be accepted?
We are in-network providers for most major insurances; please verify with the office for your specific coverage.
